Small Town Charm characterizes the essence of Verrado. Expressed through the individuality of homes and neighborhoods, streets so pedestrian-friendly that they become amenities in themselves, tree-lined streets, a Village Green, parks within a moments walk from anywhere, front porches and alley garages, Verrado is a place where everyday pleasures are life’s reward.
Verrado residents build lasting relationships simply by participating in the everyday joys of life in a small town. Sunday with kids on the Village Green, a sunset stroll down Main Street, a round of golf, shared coffee after an early morning hike, the annual Independence Day bike parade, or just greeting passersby from the front porch of a home that does not look like any other on the street. Dozens of annual traditions and signature events mark moments and make memories for friends and families.
Undulating hillsides, towering peaks, saguaro cactus forests & desert wildlife provide a captivating backdrop to everyday life. More than 20 miles of desert paths and trails offer unsurpassed opportunities for exploration. Two golf courses situated more than 1200 feet above the Valley floor unveil panoramic city views. Desert breezes, spectacular sunsets, neighborly white-tailed deer and twinkling night skies add a natural authenticity that lends generously to the town’s remarkable distinctiveness.
